外表长得像女孩一样可爱的少年二鸟修一，渴望自己能够变成真正的女孩，而长得像男孩一样酷帅的少女高槻佳乃，则是希望自己能够变成男孩。两个人在修一的朋友千叶的推波助澜之下发现了对方的秘密，之后更瞒着大家到远一点的城镇交换身分——修一穿着女装，佳乃则打扮成男生的样子。起初，因为大家还是小学生，所以这种“性别交换”还能很顺利地进行下去，但随著两人的成长，却慢慢地浮现出各种各样的问题……

与丈夫分手后，孤独的服装设计师如芬想与弟弟春生呆在一起。但春生退伍后却想玩萨克斯，并与台北的小混混住在一起。美丽偷了如芬的大哥大，两个人通过电话有了交往。巧合的是，春生与美丽发生了肉体关系，而且告诉她自己过去曾与姐姐睡在一起。由于美丽不知道春生就是如芬的弟弟，她把这则佚事讲给如芬听。后来，春生把美丽介绍给父亲和姐姐。如芬在把所有线索联系起来后非常震惊。她走向海边。

衛藤病院の一人娘・杳子（菊池桃子）は、父（高橋悦史）と義母（茅島成美）の愛情を一身に受けて、高校3年生まで育った。ところがある日、ふとしたキッカケで、14年前に死んだと聞かされていた実母が、北海道に住んでいると確信するようになる。杳子は両親と争った末、「自分の人生は自分で決めさせて下さい」と母捜しの旅に出ることを決意する。 旅の初日、旭川に着いた杳子は駅でさっそく女詐欺師（岡本麗）に金を騙し取られてしまう。そんな杳子の前に、余生を旅で送る老人夫婦（三木のり平・七尾伶子）、会社の金を持ち逃げしたサラリーマン（長塚京三）、婚約者に裏切られたソープ嬢（小林聡美）など、心に傷を負った人たちが次々と現れる。杳子は彼らから人生とはどんなものかを少しずつ学んでいくのであった…。

Office worker Ranhee is a cinephile who once dreamt of being an independent film director. Several years ago, she had to put an end to her gloriously drafted independent feature film and went off the grid. She heads to a bar to meet her friend Seonjun who used to make films together. There she bumps into Xingxing, the starring actress of her flop. Xingxing still features in independent films and builds her career. She is with director Ki, the producer of her upcoming film. Xingxing suggests that the three sit together. Director Ki is insensitive and crude as if those features represent a true artist. When he begins to talk about Ranhee’s film, she can’t help but become very sensitive.

Poetry meets technology in this film about the cycle of the seasons. Narrated by William Shatner, and accompanied by a special digital "surround" recording of Antonio Vivaldi's The Four Seasons, the film takes audiences on a breathtaking trip through the eruption of spring, the growth of summer, the harvest and festivity of autumn, and the dormancy of winter. The beauty of the seasons is interspersed with a look at the earth as a planet, the sun as a star, and the human quest to understand the relationship between the two.

Seasons is an experimental video that weaves personal memory, movement, and the ephemeral nature of love into a poetic narrative across four acts. Each section corresponds to a season and a place: Winter in Japan, Spring in Korea, Summer in China, and Fall in Love. The first three acts are created using a "motion extract" technique, where only movement is captured, leaving a haunting black backdrop that frames the fleeting motions of life. These segments reflect the director's time spent working on projects in Japan, Korea, and China during the respective seasons, grounding each location in its temporality. The original audio from the filming process accompanies these visuals, immersing viewers in the specific textures of each place. In the final act, Fall in Love, the clarity of both video and sound dissolves into a blur, reflecting the elusiveness and fragility of love and memory. The faint echoes of the director’s conversations with a former partner linger in this obscured space, hinting at intimacy while withholding its full shape, leaving the audience to contend with the ambiguity of what remains. Through Seasons, the director captures not just the transience of time and place but also the impermanence of human connections, inviting viewers to reflect on the movements that define their own lives.

A tale of love, life, death, and destiny that spans continents and time. The story follows a couple destined to fall in love but kept apart by the machinations of a vengeful soul, and a 100-year odyssey through previous lifetimes for them to finally come together. Motola will play Eiko, a young woman who escapes her family’s expectations of a traditional life in Japan but finds herself entangled in a romantic web in New York. Competing for Eiko’s affection is Yutaka, to be portrayed by Matsudo.
